Carfidant Cleaning Spray excels at removing fresh bug splatter, sap, and other new contaminants. While it effectively tackles these issues, removing older, dried-on bug stains requires more effort, including scrubbing and allowing the product to sit for a period of time.

Instructions say to leave on "a few minutes", and it seems to work when left on 3-4 minutes but also when spraying directly and using the cloth that already has solution on it. With bug splatter removal, it works well but does take some elbow grease. It works on both painted surfaces as well as plastic.There was some kind of "goo" (not sure if tar, bug or other) on the motorcycle chrome pipe that would not come off, even with several 'spray and wait' periods. I tried several methods but no success.Also, it says that it's ceramic, but my vehicle had a ceramic spray treatment on it prior to using this product. After using the bug spray, the surface looked great but didn't feel as slick, and the water did not bead up. I had to reapply my original ceramic spray to be confident the protection was restored.

Also, I noticed since using this spray, I hardly have bugs stuck on the front of my car anymore. When I first used it, I had tons of bugs but once I cleaned it off with this, hardly bugs stick anymore. I believe it provides a true protective shield as well. Pictures I attached is after using this over 2 weeks ago. Still no bugs. Will buy again.

This spray made cleaning up bug-splatter a breeze. I don't exactly know what "Ceramic" means in this product: my car is coated with professional grade ceramic product... so I really don't need anything reacting with that. Ceramic seems like a buzz word, and is meaningless to me.in terms of this review.It cleaned the bugs off with a couple swipes of the terry cloth, and left a streak-free glossy look. Great 👍However, removing tar didn't go as easily as advertised: I let the product set for several minutes, but the tar did not just wipe off. It did ultimately come off, with multiple applications and buffing the area, however. I should note that the "tar" in my case is from "tar balls" on a race track hitting the car - they may be considered more of a rubber than some sort of asphalt road tar?Regardless, the product cleaned up all the spots I needed it to, when other products weren't getting it done. I'm happy with it.

I received “Carfidant Cleaning Spray with Ceramic Coating for Car - 16 fl oz.” The included microfiber cloth is large and a good quality. It’s made in China, of polyester and polyamide. The tar remover comes with a separate nozzle. The nozzle has settings for a narrow stream, a wide stream, and off. The nozzle worked well almost immediately.

Nice little kit for washing the stuck-on gunk on the front of the car. Helps with grime and bugs.

I bought this trying to not have car bugs. It works great. Doesn’t have bad smell to it. Offers different was to store in use it from vents in ur car windows. Works great if u need something I’d def suggest use n buy again!! Great product!

A used a couple sprays on the bottom of my filthy car door and it cleaned it right up. Soap and water may have been equally effective at getting off the dirt, but this claims to provide extra protection to the finish. Has a pleasant fragrance.

I now always keep this product in my trunk. I'm sure I'm not the only one familiar with the feeling when you approach your car parked under a tree and see bird droppings or dried sap spots on the shiny surface of your four-wheeled wonder. Especially if the car has been sitting there for several days, allowing everything to dry thoroughly. Or after a long trip on the highway, particularly in the evening or at night, when the entire bumper is covered with the remains of mosquitoes and bugs that collided with it. I also use this product to remove any other stains on my car's body that annoy me between washes. The key is to follow the instructions correctly: after spraying the liquid on the affected area, let it soak into the stains for three to five minutes. Then they can be removed easily and painlessly. Afterward, wipe the surface dry. I can't say for sure about ceramic coatings, but the cleaned surface looks virtually indistinguishable from the rest of the car. The cleaning process itself is quite quick and easy.

Where I live we deal with bugs on our cars almost year round. Right now we are in a bit of a lighter period since the temperatures are near and over 100 degrees during the day. Less bugs but the ones that end up on my car get baked on. I decided to try this Bug and Tar remover with ceramic from Carfidant,I sprayed it on and waited about 5-10 minutes. After waiting I could already see the product starting to work. The bugs cleaned off relatively easily and cleaned the other dirt off the car too. It did take an extra rinse to get the soapy part off but it wasn’t a big deal. The ceramic coating should help the bugs come off more easily the next time. I usually spray my car with something before the car wash so this will be my new go to product.The price at the time of this review is $16.97 for 18 oz. The listing I chose said 18 oz but the bottle is labeled 15 fl. So maybe there is a packaging error or reason they are saying it’s only 15.I am happy with how quickly this worked and how well it removed the baked in bug stuff.My Rating is 5 Stars.
